PROJECT INFO:
A title sequence created for the short film Braid, about a girl named Lily whose mother's death sends her off the rails. The braid she always wears was her mother's too, a small ritual of memory she can't let go of.
Shot, directed and edited solo on a Canon DSLR, exploring intimacy and memory through close framing of a girl braiding her hair.
I would love to direct a title sequence again or even nerd out chatting about the greats - Saul Bass, Kyle Cooper, Robert Brownjohn etc.
