PROJECT INFO:
For this GQ Taiwan x DEFENDER partnership, we developed an advertorial concept
that connected a respected local creative with DEFENDER’s brand purpose, helping build awareness in a market where the brand was still emerging. We partnered with award-winning Taiwanese musician and DEFENDER owner Ayal Komod, whose modern yet freestyle approach to music aligned naturally with the brand’s heroic and charismatic spirit.
Inspired by DEFENDER’s iconic rear light signature we created a bold graphic visual language that informed the campaign’s imagery, styling direction and storytelling approach. Working from concept through to production, we developed the creative treatment, visual narrative and shot plan, shaping reportage-style photography and
high-fashion styling that captured authentic, intimate moments between Ayal and
the vehicle.
The video assets were conceived as moving posters, transitioning from darkness
into light to hero both Ayal and DEFENDER. The campaign was delivered across
GQ Taiwan’s print, digital and social channels, alongside DEFENDER and Ayal’s
owned platforms.
