This was a Christmas campaign created for Bahamian telecoms brand Aliv.
The brief was to celebrate the role Aliv plays in connecting communities
across the Bahamas. Inspired by Nassau’s annual Festival of Lights Boat Parade, a celebration of the island’s maritime heritage where boats illuminate the harbour with festive displays, we developed a campaign built around the idea of bringing traditional Christmas wishes to life by lighting up the town itself.
The film follows a young girl cycling through the streets of Nassau as the environment gradually illuminates around her. Homes, streets and local
spaces come alive in her wake, creating a visual expression of connection,
joy and community spirit.
The visual language extended into print and OOH, where typography was treated as light painting to reinforce the feeling of warmth, movement and celebration throughout the campaign. Rolled out across film, print and OOH,
the work positioned Aliv at the centre of Bahamian community culture during
the festive season.
